Lampel Is The Successful Co-founder
Jonathan L. Lampel is the successful co-founder of a high-quality financing firm called LeasEquip, Inc. The firm handles a range of investment banking, equipment leasing, and commercial financing. Jonathan L. Lampel himself has a background in finance, law, and history—he obtained college degrees in each of those fields.
Ever since Jonathan L. Lampel has been working in the adult professional world, he has been involved in the financing industry in one way or another. His first experience with the financing industry was when he worked as a credit reporter at Dun & Bradstreet, a firm based in New Jersey. He went on to work at Crocker National Bank, which was later bought by Wells Fargo. During his time there, he worked as a portfolio manager, credit analyst, and loan officer. He later went to work for the Wells Fargo Leasing Corporation, starting in 1972 and staying on for four years, until 1976. In this position he oversaw the company’s activities in twelve states from Houston. He left his position with Wells Fargo Leasing Corporation to pursue an opportunity, trying to turn around a Los Angeles-based firm called Topa Equipment Leasing, Inc., which had been founded by the self-made millionaire and Forbes 400 List member—John Anderson, who also happens to be a major donor to U.C.L.A.’s Business School.
